Washington, D.C.

I haven't been able to update for a couple of days because of a lack of internet connection and (more to the point) a COMPLETE lack of time. I've been sitting in on mediation in a law case for the past couple of days (can't give details about the case just yet, sorry).

But what I CAN talk about is D.C. It's been an interesting trip. Todd and I arrived Tuesday morning in Baltimore and drove in to the Wyndham hotel. As of yet, we haven't gotten to play "tourist," but I'm hopeful for the rest of the day.

Last night we went to dinner at a restaurant called "The Wharf." Excellent seafood (try the Lobster scallop Au Gratin!), and I have to admit that this was the first night since we'd gotten here that I started to unwind from the trip. I felt pretty good about being here at that point. And we even got to drive by all of he impressive monuments.

One thing that I haven't been too keen about is the fact that everywhere we go the heat is on. It's in the low 50s here and I'm sweating ALL THE TIME.

Anyway, I'll have a more thorough update later but I wanted to say that D.C. has been quite an experience. Heck, I'm even considering law school at this point. After what I've seen, I think it would be an interesting turn of events to go into that line of work.
